The bunny
About 30 cm tall seated, in super-soft grey polyester plush, with very long floppy ears, a smooth white tummy panel that takes vibrant full-colour print, and printable foot pads for a small extra motif. It is intended as a keepsake gift, and, as with any soft toy, nothing should be left in a cot with a sleeping baby.
The birth details, in order
The usual set is name, date of birth and birth weight, and the order below is the one that reads best on the panel:
- The first name, largest, on its own line. Include a middle name only if it matters to the family; leaving it out gives everything else more room.
- The date, in the format the family uses. "3rd May 2026", "03.05.2026" and "3 May 2026" all print exactly as typed; decide once and check it. American order (05.03.2026) is the mistake that cannot be corrected afterwards.
- The weight, if there is room: "7lb 4oz" or "3.3 kg". Time of birth is optional and usually the first thing to drop.
- A small motif above or below: moon and stars, a heart, a cloud. On the foot pads, the initial or a tiny star.
The text field takes up to 250 characters, enough for full details with a short line above ("Welcome to the world"). But short wording prints larger and reads across a nursery, and a single first name is the boldest, clearest option if the bunny is a christening or first-birthday gift rather than a birth keepsake.
Fonts and colour on plush
Six fonts: Script, Serif, Block, Display, Mono and Hand. Script suits a name; Serif or Block suits the date and weight underneath, because numbers need clarity. Soft colours (sage, dusky pink, navy, terracotta) print well on the white panel; very pale pastels lose contrast. One or two colours, not five.
Artwork
Upload a clear PNG, JPEG or SVG up to 15 MB for a design of your own: a simple illustration with strong lines reproduces best. The design is printed into the panel rather than applied as a patch, so nothing is stitched or stuck on to work loose. The upload guide covers file types.
Washing
Surface wash with a damp cloth and a little mild soap; do not machine wash or tumble dry; air dry away from direct heat; avoid scrubbing the printed panel. A bunny that goes everywhere will get grubby, and a damp cloth every few weeks keeps it presentable without risking the print.
When to order
After the birth, when the name and the details are certain; the same bunny for a christening carries the name and the christening date instead.
