Soup, pasta, porridge, chilli or last night's leftovers: this personalised food jar keeps a proper hot meal ready to eat wherever the day happens to be. The double-wall stainless steel body holds temperature, the wide mouth means you can eat straight out of it without fighting a narrow neck, and the handle sits in the lid so it does not snag inside a bag.
Each jar is personalised to order by Laren Craft in Cheshire with the name, font and icon you choose, applied in high-quality permanent adhesive vinyl.
The case for putting a name on a food jar is the same as the case for a named lunch bag. A staffroom fridge and a school cloakroom both hold a lot of near-identical containers, and the one with a name on it is the one that comes home again.

The wide mouth is the detail worth caring about. Plenty of flasks this size are built around a narrow opening that is awkward to fill, worse to eat from and genuinely unpleasant to wash. At 11.4 cm you can get a normal spoon and a normal hand inside it.
Personalisation
Type the name exactly as you want it, choose your font number from the chart, and tell us the icon you would like beside it — a heart, flower, football, star, dinosaur, rainbow, lightning bolt or paw print all work well at this size. You can also ask for the design on the front, the side or the top.
Short works better here. The printable area curves, so a first name in a bold font reads from across a room while a long phrase shrinks to something you have to squint at. If you leave the placement blank we will put it where it sits best on the shape.
The design is cut from permanent adhesive vinyl and applied by hand. It is not engraved or printed into the steel, which is worth knowing before you order and is why the care notes below matter.

How to Order

Care Instructions
- Hand wash only — not dishwasher safe
- Do not microwave; this is a stainless steel product
- Do not soak for long periods
- Do not scrub directly over the vinyl or use abrasive cleaners
- Dry thoroughly before storing, with the lid off
For better heat retention, fill the jar with boiling water and leave it five minutes before tipping it out and adding hot food. Do the same with cold water and ice for salads and yoghurt. It makes a noticeable difference and costs nothing.
Delivery & Returns
Made to order in Cheshire and usually dispatched within 1–3 working days. UK standard delivery is free on every order, with no minimum spend. Personalised items cannot be returned unless they arrive faulty or are not what you ordered, so please double-check the spelling of the name. Our customisation policy has the full detail.

- Only the food jar is included. Food, cutlery and props shown in the photos are there for scale and ideas.
- A spoon is not included.
- Colours can look slightly different on screen depending on your monitor or phone.
- Each one is personalised by hand, so small variations in placement are possible. Measurements are approximate.

Personalised orders

Non-personalised returns
For non-personalised items, you can request a return within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging. Return postage is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty.
Damaged or faulty items
If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us with your order number and clear photos of the issue. We’ll review it and help with a suitable solution as quickly as possible.
- How long does it keep food hot?
- It is a double-wall insulated flask, so it holds temperature through a normal school or work day. Pre-heating it with boiling water for five minutes before you add hot food makes a noticeable difference.
- Will the name come off in the wash?
- Not if you hand wash it. The design is permanent adhesive vinyl applied by hand, so the jar is not dishwasher safe and the vinyl should not be scrubbed directly.
- Can I put it in the microwave?
- No. It is a stainless steel product, so it must never go in a microwave. Tip the food onto a plate instead.
- Is it leak-proof?
- The lid seals on a silicone gasket and is designed to hold soup and sauces inside a bag. As with any flask, close it fully and carry it upright where you can.
- What colours can I choose?
- Pink, blue or green. Pick your colour from the drop-down before adding it to your basket.
- Can I return it?
- Not once it carries a personalised name, unless it arrives faulty or is not what you ordered.
